A cofounding principal of PSSI, Daniel Fitzgerald oversees daily operations of PSSI, including business development, strategic planning, risk management and financial management. His business acumen and construction management expertise have propelled PSSI’s exponential growth over the years.
With more than 30 years of construction experience, Daniel Fitzgerald has used his extensive knowledge of construction management and business acumen to help grow the company into the most well-respected and leading edge structural concrete company in San Diego.
As Chief Operating Officer, James is responsible for ensuring that PSSI’s core values are prominent in all company operations, to include project management, work acquisition, field operations and company logistics. James is always looking for ways to apply his experience gained and lessons learned from years of working on large-scale high-profile projects throughout the country. He works hard to bring to bear all PSSI strengths to provide solutions to any of our client’s needs. Striving to bring safety, craftsmanship, innovation, and efficiency to all of PSSI projects.
Since 1977, Tim Boyd has managed virtually all aspects of the construction industry. Excelling from carpenter, to superintendent, then project management Tim has mastered contract negotiations to construction design resolution and trade coordination.
Along the way, he has earned the respect of architects, engineers, vendors and clients by minimizing costs while ensuring projects are executed safely and according to plan. Tim joined PSSI in 2006 as a project manager and became a principal in 2012. From the preconstruction meetings to project closeout, Tim and his team manages each project with detail and careful consideration to quality control and safety.
Tim has extensive knowledge of structural concrete construction methods and is able to provide cost analyses on means and methods throughout the design process. In addition, Tim is responsible for managing quality takeoffs, providing general contractors with unit and budget pricing on structural concrete elements. Tim has
knowledge in areas of value engineering in formwork engineering and concrete placement. Tim is involved in all estimates that are generated at PSSI.
Shane has over 30 years of experience in structural concrete work here in San Diego. Shane has taken the lead on several of PSSI’s larger and multiple phased projects over the last 10 years. This includes projects located on San Diego State University, UCSD and South Western College campuses. He is responsible for coordinating all equipment and manpower needs for large scale projects. Shane has an impeccable reputation for completing projects on time and on budget.
Since 2012, Kim has lead PSSI’s Accounting and Human Resources team. Over those years, PSSI has grown substantially in revenue and staff and Kim has successfully implemented multiple software and process changes in order to continually provide PSSI’s Executive management team timely and relevant information to successfully manage the Company. As with the rest of the Executive team, Kim strives to bring innovation, efficiency and integrity to PSSI’s office administration and in her team’s support of Project Management and Field operations.
