Our Strong Foundation

THE EXPERIENCE TO REALIZE YOUR VISION

Pacific Southwest Structures, Inc. began its journey in 1995 when the founding principal Dan Fitzgerald, driven by a vision for excellence, established the company as a commercial framing contractor. In 1999, joined by John Shelby, they expanded into the realm of structural concrete, laying the foundation for what would become a thriving company. By 2001, with a keen focus on concrete, PSSI emerged as a rising player in the industry, backed by the expertise of its principals Dan Fitzgerald, John Shelby, Len Tyler, and Tim Boyd.

From its inception, PSSI Concrete has upheld values of integrity, trust, and punctuality. Guided by the ethos of placing reputation over profit, the company navigated challenges such as building a robust reputation, establishing market presence, and securing skilled labor. Through perseverance and dedication, PSSI overcame hurdles and earned its place as a trusted partner in construction projects that define San Diego's landscape.

Over the years, Pacific Southwest Structures, Inc. has not only excelled in projects like Snapdragon Stadium, IQHQ Research and Development District, and San Diego International Airport but has also played a significant role in advocating for legislative changes to benefit the industry at large. Committed to giving back, the company has been actively involved in philanthropic endeavors, embodying its culture of contributing positively to both industry and community.

As PSSI looks to the future, its vision remains clear: to sustain its position as a premier structural concrete contractor in Southern California. Grounded in a legacy of excellence and driven by a commitment to quality, the company aims to continue its trajectory of growth, innovation, and service to the community.
