The Arctic Rescue roller coaster at SeaWorld San Diego is an exhilarating addition spanning nearly five acres, featuring a continuous mat foundation that supports an extensive 2,800 feet of track. This project involved decommissioning an existing ride and repurposing its building to create a rider station, queue zone, and non-rider waiting area, with modifications to the park’s layout to accommodate employee access routes. Offering an immersive experience with straddle snowmobile-style seats, Arctic Rescue stands as the longest and fastest straddle coaster on the West Coast, designed by Intamin and architecturally crafted by PGAV. This innovative attraction enhances both guest engagement and operational efficiency within the park.
