The construction of SDSU Aztec Stadium was a landmark project featuring three levels of cast-in-place concrete and three levels of structural steel, spanning a total of 200,000 SF. In collaboration with Clark Construction and utilizing advanced BIM technology, precise constructability of complex structural elements was ensured, overcoming significant design challenges. Completed over nine months, the project not only adhered to stringent timelines but also achieved LEED Gold Certification through the innovative use of low-carbon concrete, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability and setting new standards in green construction practices.
